I got a black screen when I start the game, I have download every redistibutable x84, x64 and nothing works.

i been playing 3 weeks so far and today installed the latest update when the update finished windows defender popped up and stated the firewall was blocking some content from MTGA. i thought that is strange so i allowed all content from MTGA through firewall, i noticed the shortcut had gone for the game so i made another and clicked it the screen goes black and that is all i have done this at least 30 times over the last 6 hours each time just a black screen nothing more now to give logs the first you ask for is clicking the gear icon in the game we with the black screen cannot enter the game and the other logs you ask for (file called MTGAInstall.log as well as a file ending in .msi.log.) i do not have or cannot find, i have tried everything at my end, loggged out and back in, cleared cache, restarted comp, then shutdown and restart comp, etc etc, also throwing the mouse at screen/keyboard did nothing either, plus i have a 64 bit whatever,so? and it's a shame for people with 32 bit did they get advance warning you were going to change to 64 bit? because if they spent money for new packs and now it change to 64 bit and they cannot enter nor play the game. are you going to at least give them info on how they can change from 32 bit to 64 bit if that's possible so they get into the game, well at least as far as the black screen atm,if you already have given this info then i stand corrected, now that is all i can help you with, i hope it helps you with helping us, and hope it's not long to a solution to our problems, otherwise i'm about to go chandra on my comp...

Crashing after each match and after I left deck creation once

When I click to start arena, I get a black screen and arena curser, no sound, no image. Nothing. It appeared to update correctly the first time I ran it. Black screen no matter what I do. I’ve updated windows, visual C++, nothing works. Just a tease.

crashed after a game and had to try several times to launch again. played 1 game and crashed again for about 30 seconds-1 min with black screen. returned to game home screen but store is not available and also weekly quest is not tracking

I fixed my problem: Go to control panel/Programs and Features and repair (Right click, change,repair) the following files: Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 ..., Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 ... and Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 ... (In total 6 items with a little computer Icon) Restart your pc, And works like a charm.

black screen when i start a match, every time, i don't could make the print about the issue because i have a black screen, i put 100€ for have the core 2021 and i want to see my problem solved in other wise i will want my money again.

I am having the same issue. This only started with the recent update. I see many of these in the logs:

[1546] Cannot find activation target at Canvas - Content/ContentController - Home(Clone)/SafeZone/Banners/Banners_Right/BannersCONTAINER_Right

Sometimes the game will boot with black screen and cursor. This also has happened leaving a game where after the Victory/Defeat message you get a black screen and cursor. Cursor moves but game does nothing and has to be forced closed.

At the end of every game I get a black screen. This is happening using the MacOS client.

If I wait a couple minutes, I get this message: Unable to get queue status. Please try again later.

Similar problem here, at the end of every game or sometimes at launch, the screen is black and I cannot do anything

macOS Mojave. Black screen after first match of sealed draft. Arena restarts but when I click into the Sealed draft again it crashes.

However, the issue has been going on for a while, black screens whenever a screen changes, sometimes when loading, sometimes it comes back but most of the time it stays black. Losing games because of the issue. It needs fixing!
