Black screen on match start
While in the menu everything is ok but when match start the screen become black but the sound still ok (if i move the cursor i can ear the sound of card mulligan).
The only whay to not concede is to set the resolution on the lowest, but usually cause visual bug on the board or/and artwork on the card disappear.
Please fix this issue, i'm loving this game

I had the game crash during a draft match. I was able to re-connect and lose a timeout but very frustrating.

I've had black screen problem for the last 2 months, and I solved it yesterday by upgrading Microsoft Visual c++ on my PC, like some users of this forum suggested .

This is getting ridiculous... I've had the game crash or disconnect me from 5 different ranked games this evening ... it would also have the timer running for the opponent but they wouldnt time out and then when I shut down the client and restarted it wouldn't open the game for roughly 30 minutes... This is so ridiculous the amount of crashes but can you sort this S**t out so it stops messing with ranked games PLEASE! -- editted; and it has happened yet AGAIN... please sort this out

The game client used to be solid (Windows 10) but it has been crashing constantly today. It looks like a recent update introduced bug(s).

Still getting Black screen at start up. Tried uninstalling all Visual C++ versions and installing the latest one (Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2019 Redistributable (x64) - 14.26.28720) but still getting the black screen . Log file attached.

Hi MTG,
After the update of MTG core set 2021 my Arena app did not work anynore, there was once an update again but this did not resolved my problem.
I installed the app for a few times to see if there was any problem. Always when I start the app there is directly a black screen with the mtg cursor.

Game froze and was unable to interact with interface. Quickly rebooted arena to be kept on loading screen forever. Was not able to rejoin game, therefore automatically lost through timer.

I'd like to congratulate Wizards of The Coast for such exceptional game they released for Mac OS. Seriously. They've managed to put together something people were waiting for a long time -- which is awesome -- and when they finally did they shipped an unusable product, and they sincerely believe it's OK. Actually, not only OK. They believe it's not even their fault i.e. they don't even care that it's unplayable. I've tried reporting this problem already and all they tell me is that it's likely to be a problem with the Epic Launcher i.e. it's Epic Games' problem, not mine. Yet we have over 3,000 votes here on a bug that originated from something else (this dates back to 2019 when there were no official Mac OS releases). The last 100+ comments here are from the same issue with the platform on Mac OS and zero responses from Wizards. Nothing. There's another bug report open for this problem at https://feedback.wizards.com/forums/918667-mtg-arena-bugs/suggestions/40757371-mtg-arena-crashing-on-mac. Guess what? Nothing there as well. They really don't seem to care. For a moment I thought it'd be nice to go back playing MTG online but that's clearly not what Wizards had in mind for us -- I don't think they want people on Mac OS to play -- perhaps they even want to troll people on Mac OS since it's going to be the first thing in history that actually works well on Windows but no on Mac OS (kidding, but it's funny though). Like I said, congratulations Wizards of The Coast! I'm gonna go back to trying to play one single game after 30 attempts of start the app > do something > *crash* > start over until it finally stops happening for a while. I feel at some point I'm just going to have to give up and go back to playing physical cards.. oh wait, COVID-19...

Same problem here for 1 month, solved the issue disintalled the past version of Visual c 86x and 64x, then re-installed latest version of Visual c++ 64x bit (2019) . Hope you all fix too

RESOLVE ---> SOLUTION: I already have the solution. I had 2 latest versions of c ++ x86 installed instead of 64 bit. I have uninstalled those programs, and installed their 64-bit version. Is working!.

game is currently inactive for more 20 minutes in a draft (it's the third game in, and I lost the first two .... )don't wanna lose the third on such terms as the game being inactive ..... so what can I do ?
