Scute Swarm Gamebreaking
I see no one posted this, but its a bug people are abusing hard even in Play Queue, the combo of making 700 "Scute Swarm" tokens making the opponent timeout or even lag out of the game, instead of the caster being the one timing out, giving free wins by breaking the game, luckily i had ''Peer Into the Abyss + Underworld Dreams'' and a high end PC that left me with 3-5 seconds before timing out and ended up winning even when opponent was spamming emotes thinking he timed me out while game was also lagging hard, this needs a FIX ASAP.
I had to cut the video a lot to try and make it fit here, and i couldn't fit it apparently video evidence is not welcome here, i have the full video of what happened if support needs it, i hope Reddit and Twitter is full of videos reporting this soon. If you are playing this deck you are doing it intentionally to get wins by breaking the game, and this should be punished.

Just had this happen to me with a heliod-soul warden-scurry oak deck, too many triggers are too many triggers.

When opponent plays scute swarm/propserous inkeeper combo and gets hugely long stacks (hundreds), their turn times out, then my turn times out and I lose the game without an option to play. Frustrating way to lose in a game against scutes with an indestructible protectors shield out.

The game engine obliviously has limits when interacting with hundreds of triggers when using Scute swarm insect and come into play effects. Instead of locking up the game and warning the user to take another action, the match will end in a draw... The game engine should detect more than 100 events and allow the player in control of the trigger to cancel the rest of them and end the sequence. So instead of a warning the game is about to end in a draw unless you do something else... A button should appear to allow you to clear the stack of a certain trigger sequence or submit to a draw. Because there is nothing you can do to stop the sequence, the is only the resolve button available with resolve all check box.

when playing against scute swarm and other such landfall triggers, timeouts pass by without giving you an option to interact as the game freezes whilst waiting for triggered generations to resolve. there should be an option to disable animation to prevent lag giving unfair technical advantage to the deck

The following issue occurs in both PC and Mobile. Scute Swarm can cause the game to lag a bit when it is generating 100+ tokens.
When prosperous innkeeper is on the stack with every scute swarm token that gets created, the stack burn down takes FOREVER.
After about 60 times of prosperous innkeeper activating off scute swarm, the game begins to warn you that you have to take a different action or it will result in a Draw. This useless because the scute swarm stack is autogenerated and neither the player nor opponent can change the stack. When this happens, it makes you resolve every single card in the stack.
Overall, the game handles scute swarm so poorly and the stacking system does not work for such large scenarios like this; the scenario described above should not result in a Draw nor should it take so long to play through.
RECOMMEND IMPROVING GAME PERFORMANCE FOR LARGE STACKS AND MODIFYING THE STACK PROTOCOL FOR LARGE STACKS.
*Not shown in this picture is the message requesting you to take a different action or the game will result in a draw. Not sure why it’s not appearing in the screenshot.

Shouldn’t ban it because the game doesn’t perform well. The poor game performance needs to be fixed.

Happened to me to, Prosperous Innkeeper + Scute Swarm +Ashaya etc. He just spawned triggers and ATE MY Time outs.
It should be eating that players time outs not opponents.

Played verses a player who had an ashaya, soul of the wild in play (makes creatures count as lands) then he dropped another land, his new acute swarm tokens where both making new tokens and copying. Ashaya specifically states only non token creatures count as lands. Please ban scute swarm since you guys can't/won't fix the mechanic of how the card works. Read through many other post of other issues regarding scute swarm. Also my game nearly timed out even tho I ended up winning.

Same thing has just happend to myself. Why am I being penalized for his exploit when he was sub 14 cards and I had a board wipe in hand just sitting there twiddling my thumbs. This needs to be addressed it's not like the rng of card draw/land ratio is helping your online gaming community along with exploits that are just let to run rampant.

I love playing scute swarm, its just a nice card, but seems to have some issues, like crashers and even worse, just got defeated because have 243 scute trigger with a prosp. winkeeper on the battlefield, ran out of time, but i didnt want to do nothing! Was just waiting them to finish the triggers!
I mean, when you check 50+ triggers beeing the same, just do the entire math and skip the animations till the last trigger. Would improve a LOT

Scute Swarm is rapidly causing timeouts much more quickly than it used to - resulting in loss of turn or loss of game while the stack is resolving.
Screencap - playing Vastwood Surge with Scute Swarm + Prosperous Inkeeper on the board caused a 20 second delay in gameplay where nothing happened, but the timer began to count down.
While the stack was resolving, the fuse started to burn down very quickly. By the time the stack resolved, it skipped my turn and went to the Opponent.
Previously, I've also had it where either (a) the OPPONENT times down while Scute Swarm is resolving on the stack, or (b) I time out completely and instantly lose the game upon resolution of the stack.
SOLUTION: No timeouts while the stack is resolving itself (it's not inaction!)

They are Scute Swarm Tokens. They have a 0 mana cost therefore they would be considered even.
-
Dragonpool#73718 commented
Yeah, the timer runs out on you while it does the animations. It happens to me too. I had the cleric class, with some cards that provided life points whenever a creature enters the battlefield. Try designating +1/+1 counters 4 times for every scute that spawns, without running out of time.

Prinskipper#96419 commented
Why do you keep punishing players for using scute swarm? Late in the game when the scute swarm mechanic has produced a lot of creatures, the time it takes to resolve (without me doing ANYTHING, JUST SITTING THERE WATCHING) for some reason means I automatically lose. Why? Seriously though, why? Also why bother posting these if no one ever responds or does anything about it?

Yes...happened to me in a recent game. Ridiculous...makes game unplayable and long due to time delay when swarm creatures keep multiplying. Scute Swarm needs to be banned or limited.

Same thing.
Slowed down immensely trying to process the effects. Once they all resolved the client crashed and - upon logging back in - I had lost the game.
Please resolve this.

Same happend to me today.
I player clerics at traditional Standard ranked. Scute swarm at late game. I had won the game next turn, no way heute could win, just nieded to attack. Had 113life and he just 58damage.
Well like 20mins I was pushing Pass turn. I had no mana untaped.. And no options to do..Still been asked if I let it resolve.
Anyway timer was going(i guess) crashed Mtga client on phone, I relogged and... Relogged to the game... Just to see I lost...
How to ladder up if und lose won games...? -

I couldn’t do anything while it created copies. Timed me out even though it was on the opponent’s turn. So dumb

I got timed out while my opponents Scute Swarm triggers were going on. This is ridiculous. Fix this. Historic and Standard are broken enough to make me question why I play Arena and now this happens? This issue is a joke.
