Scute Swarm Gamebreaking
I see no one posted this, but its a bug people are abusing hard even in Play Queue, the combo of making 700 "Scute Swarm" tokens making the opponent timeout or even lag out of the game, instead of the caster being the one timing out, giving free wins by breaking the game, luckily i had ''Peer Into the Abyss + Underworld Dreams'' and a high end PC that left me with 3-5 seconds before timing out and ended up winning even when opponent was spamming emotes thinking he timed me out while game was also lagging hard, this needs a FIX ASAP.
I had to cut the video a lot to try and make it fit here, and i couldn't fit it apparently video evidence is not welcome here, i have the full video of what happened if support needs it, i hope Reddit and Twitter is full of videos reporting this soon. If you are playing this deck you are doing it intentionally to get wins by breaking the game, and this should be punished.

Had a similar problem, where it got stuck with triggers on the stack due to a lot of Scute Swarm tokens entering the battlefield. I had to click through and manually resolve around 150 triggers as it kept popping up with a warning to take a different action else the game would end in a draw. The game didn't end in a draw but it made me use up some of my timeouts.

People are taking advantage of this bug by purposefully overtaxing the system causing the lag. The worst part is, the time out is waiting for all the bugs to resolve but you're the one who gets penalized because of the way Magic Arena structures the time out. If they are going to keep the ******* in they should create a button that says skip resolution in batch, the thing the "Resolve All" button was supposed to do, or at least an option to cut out any specific animations.

Here we are in August 2021 and this is still a bug? I was roped for all my timeouts (three ropes total) when Scute Swarm also had a Prosperous Innkeeper interaction. I had immediately hit 'Resolve All' but the timer was counting down my time during a series of animations I have no control over.
C'mon, Wizards. Scute Swarm is still here for 2022. Fix your animation issues that are costing games.

Same issue with a scute/felidar lifegain deck. While server is either resolving the stack or during animations the games uses both mine and opponents timeouts.
Log shows SEVERAL "Internal Server Error" messages.

If Yorvo is on the table as well, the animations can go 10-20 minutes giving no chance to react and the warning sounds like a stupid trolling.
Is it so hard to disable them completely on "Resolve All" button...? -

The game crashed after doubling my scute swarm from 127 to 252 LUL

I just had this happen. Also, the landfall deck everyone plays absolutely sucks the fun out of it. Along with the Teferi mill deck. They both have 5 million triggers of basically you not getting to play. I’d love a more robust matchmaking system that paired me with people who thought about their decks and actually play versus just combo-ing out with these same pieces over and over and lagging out my game.

Yeah normally a delay, I had a trigger of over 1000 scute and my turn lagged out and I lost them and almost lost the game due to it

Same thing is happening to me! I had a Doomskar and could have killed all of them on the next turn. This is ridiculous and should be banned.

Same. Opponet had 250 tokens out and it triggered one last time. He had about 6 creatures that could have attacked me that turn, but not kill me. after they all triggered it ended his turn. I drew the 8th mana I needed to cast Ugin wich was in my hand. I could have completely wiped the board with him having 15 cards in library and I had over 20, but it immediately ended my turn for no reason, activated his upkeep and ended the game. This is intensly frusterating.
Edit: The problem here is absolutely the timer. The timer should stop if the actions on the stack exceed a certain number, maybe 20? the reason it ended my turn is while his timer was going, so was mine as I was unable to perform any action. Fix the timer.

Same thing just happened to me. My next turn I was going to win, never got the chance. It took about 10 mins to get through the queued scute swarms and of course after that I had forfeited my turn(s).
Seriously guys, write some optimisation logic into your game e.g.
first Scute Swarm sets ‘6 lands’ flag to true. From that point on, don’t count the lands, just refer to the flag! Also please remember that gameplay is the #1 thing to get right. If gameplay suffers because of graphics rendering, for gods sake allow us to disable 3D effects etc...we know it’s pretty, but we’d prefer to be able to play!
This applies to all costly renders- not just Scute Swarm but literally anything that chews up resources (including those f** pets). Please write in some performance checking, so when it gets bad the game just falls back to a sprite or something.

Scute swarm can trigger literally hundreds of copies within a few turns, it completely crashed a ranked game I was playing via iOS app

Scute swarm breaks the game. Even when I hold a Doomskar to counter that annoying f*cking card I can't play it because my time expires and I can't even play my next turn...half the time my game locks up. That card should be banned until you can fix this.

Scute Swarm lag causes the game to crash and the "Timer" to run out. I just lost a game because I was not allowed to declare blockers!!!! Ban Scute Swarm NOW!!!!

I run a scute swarm mutation deck on mobile and if an opponent doesn't surrender I can easily get over 100 creatures on the battlefield. When a land enters under such circumstances the stack created by all these abilities triggering is huge. First of all I noticed that sometimes not all the abilities make it on the stack as the game slows and and simply stops counting. Secondly, when the stack gets so big the game slows to a crawl and each instance of the ability can take over a second to resolve. This would only be an inconvenience if it wasn't for the fact that the game seems to continue invisibily while the stack slowly resolves. When the stack finally clears all the action I've missed happens in quick succession, preventing me from responding or even taking my next turn. I have even lost a game from being timed out while I wait for the stack to empty. This is especially infuriating since the sheer volume I am summoning would otherwise basically ensure my victory.

agreed with everything in comments.
wotc please THINK when you create cards like this. and then the mutate on top - thefck? and the game wont even support the amount of tokens created. how you expect us to support that? you on some bs.
If magic will continue like this in the next years i am quitting digital and analog formats. and how are you gonna play this in a real game? who has 400 tokens lying around? -

Scute swarm was played against me, but I used the halo protection card so had protection against it. I had the game won at this point. But now comes the exponential loop of scute swarms on the stack that timed out both of our turns after a while. You need to add some logic that if you have the same ability on the stack and I push resolve all skip the graphics put the tokens down on the table and stop wasting our time in an infinite loop.

Opponents triggers caused me to auto lose???? I would have won next turn due to Flying and protection. This is ridiculous. I waited so long for the triggers to resolve knowing I had a win on board! Thanks for wasting my time wizards.......
