asset error
started a new update and all i get is a reoccurring "asset error detected" over and over

Same problem now since the last update. Tried all the "fixes" I could find. Wizards is no help. I'm guessing there's not a fix and it's a Wizards problem not an us problem

Got this same error. I too am tired of the constant unistall/re-install every update. Why cant they put out a usable reliable game?

I cannot enter MTG Arena on iOS (iPhone 12 latest iOS). I face an “Asset error that occurred during my last session”, and the auto resolution doesn’t help (please see images).
I hypothesize this either can be the latest patch/maintenance work which was effectuated yesterday (24th august) or the evening before where a game session crashed (perhaps due to a laggy internet connection). -

Once the game is launched, it continues to tell me there is an Asset Error Detected and must restart. I have attempted uninstalling/reinstalling the program via the Epic Games launcher and a second time with restarting the machine between uninstall and reinstall. I was not able to find a cache folder to delete.4. Enter the expected results of the feature
The game should update with the latest patch and be playable5. Add any relevant screenshots/videos

Since 08/24/2021 update, I get Asset error detected. Game reloads over and over but can’t get pass that error screen.

Someone found a solution to this issue? Contacted them through Email but they said that nothing can be done if restarting, re-installing and resetting the internet connection doesn't work...... Absolutely nonsense.

Was this issue fixed for anyone?
This is getting frustrating, the game won't load, the waiting for server icon disappears and only a black box is looping in the middle of the screen....
Anyone got a response from WOTC except for the pathetic half answer to troubleshoot this ourselves? -

After an abrupt restart, app needs to verify resources and needs to re-lunch to re-check. The app restarts and scans. After a few seconds the scan finishes and the same error and the need to restart comes up as well.
