Exact same issue even removing it completely (including registry and ****) didn't work.
Same issue on mobile and PC.
"Loading initial scene" ► black scree, ► Waiting for server... (circle is stuttering) ► short black screen ► short circle ► black until after 15 minutes the "retry" button appears.

Mobile (Android) is the same. Music is playing while black screen is stuck.

I am having this same exact issue. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried deleting some temp files as recommending. Nothing seems to be working.

Currently experiencing same issue and new MTG Version 2021.7.21.3803

same since 3 days, cant do anything about it.

have nvidia surround desktop but stuck indef at loaditing initial scene with 0/0KB/s from any known WOTC servers...

Hey everyone. I found a solution to this issue on a similar bug report post.

"Guys my problem has solved. If it isnt bcuz of fixing u guys should download any uninstaller and remove the game with every single file and registry data and then reinstall it. I used revo uninstaller. Now I can play the game after ten days."

Apparently, every trace of MTGA needs to be erased from the computer, and uninstalling it normally still leaves behind files. I'm not completely sure what it is that the game is having trouble with, but I used the program revo uninstaller to erase every file related to MTGA before reinstalling it. Just be careful not to uninstall or delete anything important to you or your computer if you use that program!

Same. Sudden issue (was playing last night).
Stuck at "Loading Initial Scene" step. It's not freezing - 3 dots are blinking.
Multiple reboots and re-launches.

I have the same problem. Tried to uninstall and reinstall it now 6-7 times using epic games and direct download from the site. Nothing helps for me.

I got the same problem over here. Apparently the game is not frozen, since the three dots are still blinking, but there is no progress even after hours of waiting.

In my case, this issue first occoured with the latest update some days ago. There were no problems before this.
