As a returning player after many years, my biggest problem is that I don't understand half of what my opponents are doing, and the games move too fast to read and understand everything at the time of play. Replays will help new players understand the game.

A replay in this game should not take much space at all, and could even be saved locally. It would just need to be a sequence of moves each player makes. If you think it is problematic that the moves will change if cards/rules are updated/changed, then these changes should be available anyway through some central database, so this information does not need to be included in the replay files. The file can just play a game given the logged moves according to the rules that were in effect when the replay was recorded.

Making the code to save the replays, sure it would be work, but I'd say that it should be one of the main priorities for the game atm. Players needs feedback to improve! Give us the tools we need to invest more into this game.
