unable to submit deck friendly play
hi, i tried playing a friendly game between me and my wife and it keeps saying unable to submit deck, i just played on monday with my wife and had zero issues it seems that this new update has messed with our accounts pretty bad. please fix this i greatly appreciate it

Why don't you care about this issue? Poeple spend money on the game to play with friends that don't live any where near them and this makes it easier... FIX THE ISSUE

I have this same issue and it is annoying - just cropped up today. And I can see this has been an issue for a long time ... I want my account cloned , my cards moved to the new account so I can play with my friends...
this seems like an easy fix as it seems to be an account specific issue. Just clone the account - ie the cards people have and move on... Fix this ...

I play this game to play my buddies - usually spend 50 bucks the odd month to get new cards etc...
THAT WON'T be happening any longer... Fix the bug issue with the accounts trying to play each other...
I would like you to clone my account - give me all my cards - give me a new account with My name or not, don't care about the name as - people seem to be able to log into other accounts on the same machines and it doesn't seem to be an issue.
Reach out to me via the email on the account. Seriously. Why spend any money if you don't keep the game up and running the way it should be.

I am trying to play private chalenge matches with a friend and after the invite goes through and a deck has been selected, it brings me to a loading screen that says, waiting for server. After that loading screen, it brings me back to the deck selection and says, can't submit deck, try again later. We are both still able to play ranked matches but it seems to not let us play any mode of challenge matches.

Playing with friends is completely broken. After accepting challenge, the match gets stuck in a loading screen for several minutes. If it doesn't get stuck in loading, it gives a network error fail "can't submit deck please try again later. this has been going on for a week.

WotC isn't going to do **** about this. They haven't responded to anyone here about it, there obviously hasn't been a patch. They probably have a team of like 3 devs for this game that are paid minimum wage. They don't care about their product, their players, or their staff.

Any attempt to direct challenge or challenge someone on my friends list in any game mode with any deck results in a deck submission error, followed by disconnection from the server.

Same problem here. Until last week I was able to play against a friend, now the 'unable to submit deck' error appears constantly when he tries to send me the invitation. No chance of playing with him. Please fix this!

I tried playing against a friend on Arena (we do this most Sundays) and after it taking longer than usual to load, we both kept getting a popup saying "network error, unable to submit deck". We both received this message at the exact same time. We restarted, logged out, even tried playing different decks, and manually inputting our user name. Nothing worked.

Since the Alchemy Eldraine update, when I try to play with a friend in direct challenge, both he and I get an error message saying "unable to summit deck", and then the client tries to reconnect to the server.
We have tried different fixes from the community, like changing the sleeves, using our nicks with the given numbers, even renaming the deck or redoing it completely card by card, but when it comes down to it, nothing has solved the problem.
The bug persists in all formats and, as a result, we can't play together in any way, which is exactly what we were using Magic Arena for in the first place.
Customer service has told us that this is not their responsibility, but what is really worrying is that by quickly searching the internet you find exactly the same issue at different times and in different years. It is inexplicable and disheartening that a fault of this category has not been corrected by now.

Same issue here, sometimes it goes without issue and after two matches it starts ocurring that either my friend or me get the error "unable to submit deck".
Another way of challeging via the challenge button at the top doesn't even cause an invite to the other person.It looks like the MTGA system is having trouble connecting the two accounts together properly for a match resulting in the infamous error.

Was playing with my friend just fine earlier, now I get this issue every time, no matter what device I try to use. I cloned my deck, tried exporting and importing it to a new one, tried using a different deck, nothing works.

Any kind of direct challenge results in about fifteen seconds of loading on the deck-selection-screen, then it shows a network error message. Restarting MTGA doesn't solve the problem, and the play/ranked queue is not impacted by this, which leads me to believe that this is not a problem with my Network. The problem seems to be account specific, as reinstalling the game doesn't work but changing into another account lets you use the direct challenge without problem. The problem persists on other devices with the use of the same account. This problem affects me since two weeks and makes tournament play impossible.

Me and my friend play online and challenge each other frequently. For the past few weeks.
at least once every day, we cannot play in challenge mode versus each other for a few hours time period which is annoying because we really love the game and enjoy playing each other. This bug actually destroys our user experience and ability to have fun.
It does not happen all the time but does happen frequently and It does not seem like anything in particular causes it like its almost random and it only happens when we issue each other a challenge both from the friend list and as a direct challenge.
He uses the Apple Mobile app and I use the Windows PC platform of the game
the best description to recreate the bug is to issue a challenge to the friend and it should often give a "Network Error: unable to submit deck"
It does not seem to be related to the deck though because earlier and later in the day we can use the same decks and get no error at all.
We both are considering not using the app any more at all because we mostly use the software for drafts and to vs each other with draft decks.
I think this bug is a big issue that needs to be fixed as from what I noticed online, this bug or similar has been present for years and nothing has fixed it yet

There is a bug that is making it were you cant play against your friends. Whenever you go to pick a deck to use, it will start to load but then say you cant connect to the servers and you need to reconnect

Tried on three different devices, two PC, one mobile. I cannot upload decklists to the server to connect via direct challenge. Just keeps saying I cannot connect to the server. I have no problem with connecting to ladder servers.
My friend has no problem connecting to direct challenge. -

Essa foi uma semana bem desagradável para quem utiliza o recurso "desafio direto" ou "desafiar um amigo", etc. Foi recorrente esse erro na hora de upar os decks. O que tornou os torneios, tais como os em parceria com o matcherino, bem sofríveis. Eu mesmo precisei dropar de vários torneios por não conseguir selecionar o deck.
