Algorithm Improvement
I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.
But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile and put those cards on top. A better template would be from the card shuffler for poker sets from stores.

I seriously when you will end up rubbing one of your "whales" the wrong way that they end up using their wealth to hire a lawyer because they got taken advantage of, instead of paying you to take advantage of them. It's going to happen eventually, and it's going to be glorious. All I can hope for is wizards gets sold as Hasbro collapses.

Has anyone else noticed that the shuffler has been exceptionally bad in draft format since the new set release? With most games being non-games in essence.
Is there any way to have the shuffler updated to more of a realistic MTG paper version?
Or for there to be data to show the games and mana draws of players across the drafts since the new set to showcase statistics. -

I draft 3 times today, 3 times a curved decks with 17 lands, I win only ONE game but I loose 9 games only on "Starting hand have 3 lands, never draw anymore !! During this time, ALL my opponents perfect curving lands and drop !!!! "
More than half of my games on any format are loose/win on mana-****. I reminder why I stopped Magic-paper and I soon stop MtGA too.You may easily fix that on video game but no it's better to get card animations or stupid useless pets.
What are you wainting to fix that, it s very frustating ?

In play mode, I want to enjoy playing Magic and not be paired against mono red decks 50% or more of the time. Would it be possible to add a feature in play mode, that tells the matchmaker not to pair or to only pair you against decks containing or not containing a certain card or that meet certain criteria? For example, I might choose to not be paired against decks that play Monastery Swiftspear or against decks that contain more than 75% of spells that cost either 1 or 2 mana. Many mono red players do so for efficiently getting daily win rewards. If I knew I could choose to have a best-of- 1 game that wasn't solely about surviving an OP mono red deck (or soldiers) intent on winning in 3-4 turns Arena would be much more enjoyable. It could go the other way too - a mono red player could choose to not be paired against certain cards, like The Wandering Emperor or to only be paired against decks that have less than 10% instants and sorceries.
WoTC could even use the knowledge of which cards were frequently chosen as "don't pair" against cards for future set design planning. -

The shuffler is the worst thing I have ever experienced. I have never had such terrible draws and had my opponents constantly have perfect draws and the perfect card at the perfect time in my life. The new WOE draft experience I have had makes me want to never play again. I bought 100 dollars worth of gems and never did better than 4 wins and 90 percent of my drafts ended with one or two wins. I am furious with this program. I have spent a lot of money on drafts and this is hands done the worst the program has ever shafted me! ********* wizards. Fix your shuffler dammit!

I just had a match where both me and my opponent were mana screwed. Going by what they played we both kept a hand with 2 lands with neither of us getting a 3rd land until at least our fourth turn and no more after that. Got to their seventh turn before they decided they'd had enough and conceded.
So far night out of 10 hands including mulligans, I've had 9 have only 2 lands. My decks are 40% lands. I've played five matches, plus one I conceded without playing due to no playable hands even after 2 mulligans. One I mana flooded and one was the previously mentioned mana screwed.
Correction: six matches, 2 mana flooded.

Wondering why players that been playing a longtime and have skins and sleeves and cards that are no longer available, are ranked and playing in bronze? It's really unfair for beginners....I used to play back in the 90's, so I know how to play decently and get by....

Heres a suggestion. FIX YOUR ******* SHUFFLER FOR LIMITED EVENTS. There is NO legitimate reason for a deck with a ratio of 3:4 lands to spells, or 16:24 since math and statistics seem to be a foreign concept to you, to CONSISTENTLY, OVER 50% OF THE TIME YIELD AN ACTUAL DRAWN RATIO OF (>1):1. THE DECK INCLUDES 8 LESS LANDS THAN SPELLS, SO WHY DOES IT MORE OFTEN THAN NOT YIELD MORE LANDS THAN SPELLS? WHAT ******* "STATISTICS" DO YOU USE THAT MAKES 12 OF THE TOP 20 CARDS IN A 16LAND 40CARD DECK LANDS MORE OFTEN THAN ******* NOT?Losing game after game in a PAID EVENT, for no other reason than THIS KIND OF DOGSHIT "RANDOMIZATION" (read: broken shuffler concentrating literally 75% of lands in the top 50% of deck virtually very single game) is absurd. 6-3 record in draft, and ONLY TWO GAMES DID I DRAW LESS LAND THAN SPELLS. IN A DECK WITH 16, NOT EVEN 17 LAND. So, 7/9 games, or a WHOPPING 77% OF THE TIME, YOUR SHUFFLER OVERPRIORITIZES MORE LAND ON TOP THAN SPELLS. 77% of the time, a deck with LESS LAND THAN RECOMMENDED (i assume recommended since thats the autofill default AND conventionally what a 40card deck would use in real life), 77% of the time a deck like this STILL MASSIVELY FLOODS UNDER YOUR SHUFFLER. Nonsensical, ridiculous, does not line up with ANY TYPE OF REAL WORLD STATISTICAL ANALYSIS. Fix your land clumper, i mean shuffler already. Don't have anyone that actually knows statistics on your staff? I'll do your job for you, i have a background in stats.

How the **** if it realistic in the slightest to have a 40 card deck in draft with 18 lands and still going over five turns without drawing a land when you have only two in your opening hand. RNG needs work once updated I will return to playing using this app.

The mechanics/ algorithm of the probability to draw a card is so broke its immensely frustrating. Yet Wizz dont seem to give a ****? why is this not being addressed?

The card shuffler/ Randomiser is so bad - the amount of games I have had where 3 of 4 or even 3 of 3 cards are drawn within the first few turns is unreal - The probability of that happing is so low yet I see it ALL the time. It needs addressing. If this was Yugioh i would have pulled all Exodia Cards just through drawing... I have attached examples

Arena's shuffler is HORRIBLY broken but wotc REFUSE to admit to it.
Last night I had a match where I started with 3 lands in my hand, drew an Instant my first turn, and then my next SEVEN draws were all lands.
Back when Baldur's Gate was the newest set I had 5 Sealeds & Drafts of going 0-3 in a row because in 13 or 14 of those games I was mana flooded, mana screwed, or only got lands of 1 color & cards of a second color.
Meanwhile wotc continuously says their game works perfectly.

As much as I love this virtual application to play MTG, the shuffled/drawing algorithm or whatever you have to create “randomized” drawing is completely useless. I just finished yet another game that finally made me DO THIS FEEDBACK. I went ten turns drawing 11 lands (6 and then 3 in a row) in a 60 card deck that has only 23 lands! Not only does that happen 2 out of every 5 games. The third attempt at a normal fun game will be the exact opposite of same deck giving me only 3 lands in 11 turns! Leaving me just 2 out of 5 games being an enjoyable experience. Im very close to discontinuing use of the game. Surely, this is not the first time this company/app has heard of this issue—maybe prioritize that instead of being another stupid game that users give ridiculous hours sunk into the game with nothing to show for in card collection or rewards UNLESS you pay way too much money - where is that money going? Obviously not fix this **** game’s broken library shuffle/drawing mechanism.

scroo and flood are not that rare, but now I get one of both every other game in limited.
Getting screwed or flooded 50% of the time does not sound right. One of those times I even got flooded with a 15 land deck.
BTW, I'm not exagerating. It def seems like some sort of error to me.
This is what happened to me yesterday during 2 WOE Standard Drafts.
First draft, match 2, game 1: Get 1 land on starting hand, mulligan down to 5, get 2 land on starting hand. No lands next 5 turns.
first draft, match 2, game 2: get flooded.
Second draft, match 1, game 1: Get 1 land on starting hand, mulligan down to 5, get 2 land on starting hand. No lands next 5 turns.
Second draft, match 1, game 2: Get flooded.
Second draft, match 3, game 1: Get 1 land on starting hand, mulligan down to 5, get 2 land on starting hand. No lands next 5 turns.
Second draft, match 3, game 2: Get flooded.If that seems like shuffler is working right, then I have the worst luck ever.
