Algorithm Improvement
I'm sure you're getting a lot of complaints about how one-sided your algorithm is not being impartial and often times screwing over players with land draws that should not be happening in a purely random sample - so my complaint can be added to that pile.
But, an idea for changing the algorithm to improve randomization would be having the program assign a number to each card remaining in a deck and pile shuffling the cards into X amount of piles (let's say 6). It can repeat this process Y amount of times then take the middle of the pile and put those cards on top. A better template would be from the card shuffler for poker sets from stores.

i have a 60 card deck with 24 land in it the first 24 cards i draw 11 are land. this doesn't happen in real life. how is it i can draw 10 land in the first 16 cards i draw. that's almost half my deck in lands. this is impossible by odds problem with your programing. im on steam and updated windows. if this isnt fixed soon i refuse to play anymore. its not fun when you have to give up every 3 games because you draw anywhere from 8 to 10 lands in a row. fix this now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's time to fix the not so randomness of card draw.. Seriously regardless the deck you use its clear chances of winning are predetermined based statistically impossibilities that occur during a match. Its creates unenjoyable match playing when you understand your are not winning because of the skill of your play rather the algorithm has determined its your turn to lose...... Come on Wizards randomizing shouldn't be this hard

・デッキタイプの相性が悪い敵とのマッチアップ確率の増加

Please just give us normal, random shuffling. You tried to do something cool with your shuffling to "give people balanced hands" or whatever your aim was and it is an absolute fail.
I would rather mulligan the occasional no land hand rather than have to deal with your, no offense intended, complete garbage system of shuffling. As would many, many other people complaining about the exact same thing.
Because "building around the shuffling algorithms to get good/perfect draws" should not be a thing. That is not what MtG is, or is supposed to be.
I have noticed the same names of people that I have matched up against 20+ times in games get the exact same opening hand every single time without having to mulligan. Just because that's how your shuffling works. This should not be a thing.
About 60% of games are 1 or 2 lands, or drawing 13 lands in a row, because they are not the "shuffling algorithm" decks and your system just breaks them. In normal games, whatever. It is what it is. Although, having to deal with this in drafts...a draft deck is 40 cards. Split into 24 nonland and 16 lands should rarely ever draw 13 lands in a row and I had that happen to me 3 games in a row on a draft for a clean sweep of losses. Not even asking for multiple draft tokens to be refunded. Just please change your shuffling.
Which others have also specifically complained about. In general, the only people I have seen not complaining about your shuffling, or making at least one negative comment on it, are the ones abusing your horrible shuffling to start every game with a perfect hand. None of this should be a thing.
There used to be strategy to playing cards in MtG. The only strategy in Arena is playing into the shuffling to get good draws, because if you don't then you get nothing. Regardless of what cards/deck you use, if it doesn't fit the shuffling algorithms then it consistently gets f***ed every game. This should not be a thing.
The reason MtG has lived as long as it has is because the physical card game is fun. Arena kills that with its shuffling alone. Arena is rarely fun. It is frustrating to every player that is not abusing your shuffling system.
Normal, random shuffling. Please.

This is ridiculous. I spent coins to join historic play and I matched up against the same type of agro deck three times in a row, the only counter my deck folds to. What gives???? I understand facing it at least a couple of times through the event, that's a given, but three times in a row? It just feels like I got ripped to spend gems or cash on the game in order to play more. Ridiculous

Play a Jund Sacrifice Food Deck. Make 8 or ten Games today. Play 23 Lands. In 8 or 10 Games there is only one that i am not getting Mana screwed or Mana Flooded. All my opponents don't get. Can not understand that i have to play 24 or mroe Lands to don't get Mana screwed. Because then i get flooded for Sure. Also Draw Cars more than once three times again. In other Decks i play more Lands and get flooded every second Game. At the Moment how the shuffler works you have to take every second Game a Mulligan and you think the shuffler is fine? Serously fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It can't be that i play Paper Magic i get better draws then i shuffle with my own hands. So overwork it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For example, programm the shuffler that No Lands hand can't happen.
The shuffler ruin every third Game, that sucks incredible hard i can't find the words for it!

Legit, fix your ******* shuffler and matchmaker and gameplay. I mean, literally, code better. I know yall can't code true random, but *******, please move in the OPs direction here. I just finished a game In Historic Play where, out of 22 land, of which ten are Plains, I got none of said Plains. Sure, I had Leyline of the Guildpact, but that's not the point - the point is deck survivability with or without Guildpact. So when I adjust the number of lands from 24 to 22 and even out other lands (Island, Forest, Swamp, Westvale Abbey) and add more Plains, I get into my next match, guess what?
One Plains, two Islands, one Lone Rider, one Ajani's Pridemate, one Moment of Defiance and one Ajani, Strength of the Pride. Lone Rider goes out first, followed by Ajani's Pridemate. Both get nuked. I draw a Swamp. Okay, I have the mana to cast, no creature to cast it on. Fine. I end my turn. I can't remember what the other guy drew, or played, but I drew a Forest on my next draw. I have the mana to cast, but only one out of twelve Plains when I have three Islands/Swamps/Forests and ONE Westvale Abbey? You guys are absolutely inept at hiding the obvious trap your ****** coding plots out for you beginning of match.
Addition: I cut Plains from 12 to ten, removed Westvale Abbey, cut Forests and Swamps down to two, added two Boseiju, Who Endures, two Brushland, two Caves of Koilos. It's lovely how yall will cram as many rare lands as you can into a starting hand, and then skimp out on the basic lands you actually have the most of. Like, get ******. ******* code better. You guys are making the idea of building a stupid ******* mono-red burn deck just so I can spam Goblins out my ******* with minimal land count and because your matchmaker seems to either match your opponent's deck, or flood you with ******** - especially against red ******* Goblins. **** red, and **** your coding.
Why the **** do matches vary from being competitive to the shuffler going "idk wtf im doin, imma wing it, badly"?

Your match making system and RNG are seriously screwed up. I’ve been on the world’s longest losing streak. No matter what deck I use, no matter what strategy and format, I lose. The opponent always has the perfect hand and every card they need. Check the match records. Every single match is completely one sided. Something is buggy with your BS system

I love how the moment I include 4 copies of Sentinel, I RIDICULOUSLY flood EVERY **** GAME :)
8 games and counting......
Move down from 25 to 24 lands, then NEVER see more than TWO in the opening hand and get stuck on three with nothing but four drops. Excellent algorithm guys!

How come that 100% of the time, EVERY PLAYER that I fight against has a perfect set hand, many times using the SAME cards I do, and I get only lands? Or only creatures? In my multicolored decks I NEVER get the colors set so I can do anything, and my enemies in three turns are already winning the game by having me mauled to a pulp? And everyone one of them are pay to winners? How do I know? Everyone of them has those payed pets. Seriously, your product IS A SHAME, A DISGRACE, A DISHONOR to the history of Magic the Gathering.

Please listen and consider, as this suggestion is in regards to your downturn in playership etc. I dont work for you so only way I know that is by the amount of people I know that no longer play the game. It isnt becasue people are getting older etc.. cards are universal age wise.
When you guys first came out with this version I was on the front lines as a cheerleader. But I noticed one major issue witht he app that I brought to the attention of devs and the official techs that frequent the FB pages. The RNG.
A Clock works on 60 tick points. anything beyond 60 tick points will create dulpicates and anomolies.. unless a second RNG cycle is added every 60 cards during shuffle. That means a Shuffle load and second one if the player has 80-119 cards.
I Know the programmer is having a cow right now but please ego's aside consider what Im saying. You have GRAND CHampions that use 100 card decks.. many players with 70 & 80 card decks that totally rock out... And they have complained about the Shuffling metrics for the app. I brought this up in the FB chat back in 2019 or so and was banned. Now your playership is falling.. its the RNG.. 60 does not account for 80 or 90.. it creates duplicates & anomolies. I promise if you look at the result data you'll see the patterns...
I think the app is great.. this one thing is the talkng point in all the discords and player gathering areas.. even in FNM they say they dont play cause "its broken". All the Best from NYC.. Keep up the good work. - Venny

the game 3/17/24 has still not been resolved as far as the **** shuffling goes. I will win standards with a 140 card deck but when it comes to a 60 card deck and 23 land... my ratio of receiving land was preposterous at a 1/5 chances... i have more than a 1/3 just land....

Ive been on the draw every single game since MKM. Not 80/90% like other complaints. 100%. Mobile so no logs. Ive counted 43 games in a row. Wasnt counting at first, no clue how many drafts before that i was always in the draw. Ill update with screenshots in the future. Havent been screenshotting them before now.

It’s infuriating that I all of a sudden get flooded constantly with the same decks I’ve been playing for years. On top of of that, it takes 5-7 games for me to go first, then when I do, it takes another 5-7 games to go first again. FIX YOUR GAME

I've paid over 10k in gems for various premier drafts for Murders at Karlov Manor set recently. I feel games are a bit rigged as I cannot believe my cards drawn during gameplay. On paper drafts, I rarely experience this occurrence (I play drafts every FNM), but during arena gameplay, happens almost 3/4 games. I get mana flooded or mana screwed with same pile of cards in my deck. My most extreme instance was literally 3 non land cards and the rest cards drawn were land (including surveiling twice 2 lands) and ending up conceding with 12 lands and 3 non-lands during entire game. What a joke. (40 card deck - 17 lands, 23 non-lands in deck)
I want a refund of most of my gems over 13,000 (but would settle for 10k). for my drafts as this is unfair and almost predatory behavior. I don't understand how the shuffler works for these other players decks either are perfect curving out and always drawing (top-decking mostly) the exact right removal or evasion spell, and my gameplay where there is literally 10 lands in a row.
I can't give too many great examples of this, but it seems to be a common pattern-like occurrence. If you are going to "hand-smooth" these ridiculous hands, you sure as **** should fix the randomizing cards afterwards as there is some disconnect. I feel the matches are starting to seem a bit rigged/fixed to favor 1 player, and when money/gems are involved, this is toxic environment and not fair whatsoever.
