Keep experiencing the same issue on Windows 10, wired connection. My game usually sits like this for 3-5 minutes before taking me to the login screen.

Once I type in my credentials, the game hangs for about 20 seconds before popping a -1 error code.

I have the same problem today

Ive restarted multiple times, uninstalled and reinstalled, and nothings improved.
Im also on Windows 7, so something in their last update killed it.

Nevermind. Works now. Had to restart my computer twice.

BTW, I just reinstalled and it didn't solve the issue.

newest update causes black screen with a cursor on startup, running in windowed mode. SEVERAL updates last year caused this same issue, it hadn't happened again until now but the game is unplayable again. tried clearing dns cache and restarting, reinstalling the game and nothing works. windows 7

Did this happen after you finished a wuest or something?
Seems like a bug from the server not sending what it should load. If you try from PC you will experience the exact same behavior, it is not platform dependant, rather account/state dependant, or seems so. I think its because the server does not reply correctly on what to load, because after a few tries you can open the exit menu too.

Downloaded the new update today and when it finished I get a black screen with only a cursor. Restarted the APP and then the PC and got the same issue.
uninstalled and reinstalled the game on PC and still only getting a black screen with your cursor.
