I have this issue too, it came from the name of the deck I think, by renaming it I can select it without crash.

Each time I want to launch a new game, if I put my mouse on a deck to select it, the game crash. I don't even need to click.

Where is the solution for this????

I have found the solution to this bug. I saw in the comments of the feedback forum a solution for the German language so I decided to try it for English. I removed the favorite decks and removed from the names all other types of characters such as [ name ]. After removing MTG arena it stopped crashing. I changed the deck, played another format and when I went back to the lobby and chose another deck or another format it didn't crash again. I don't know if it's a complete solution, but so far it's working.

I'm also having this problem. I will try to explain step by step what is happening. I was playing in BO1 alchemy format. When I decided to change deck (and format) mtg arena simply freezes and then closes by itself. I already uninstalled and installed again, I was able to play another format with another deck. But when changing the problem returned. When checking the last game part it was the alchemy format deck and not what had changed. The game continues with the problem of not allowing to change decks, freezes and closes.

Just installed MTG arena for the first time here. The game just crash every time I would choose a deck to play, just quit and that is it.

Exactly the same issue.
And I confirm, the bug came with Alchemy.

I report that for 1 month now, it is more and more painful to play MTG Arena, because when you want to select a deck to play Standard Ranked Game (one of the top left hand screen) you get kicked out of the game.
Please solve that bug

Very same issue, Win 10 French latest release.
Switching game language to English allows to select a deck, but then changing back to French at the start of the game makes MTGA to crash after the game and before returning to main menu.
Weird... this bug does not occur every time !

Find a solution (german language / Windows ten):
Rename all your deck names, for example: from "Flieger" into "Flieger BG" (at witch BG is for the color BlackGreen).
Furthermore avoid "scharfes s" like "ß" and mutated vowel (ä, ü, etc.).
It works for me..good luck all.

For me it appens for each mode, when i click on a deck or when i scroll to choose a deck

I was with the same problem. I just fixed this by changing the game's language (if use another language), you can do this in the game's options, in "Graphics", then you select "English".

SOLUCE :
Mettre le langage en anglais le temps de sélectionner le deck. Ca marche pour moi, j'espère que pour vous aussi.
