Ogre-Head Helm/ Shattered States Era
I used Shattered States Era to gain control of my opponent's creature, that was reconfigured with Ogre-Head Helm.
'Whenever Ogre-Head Helm or equipped creature deals combat damage to a player, you may sacrifice it. If you do, discard your hand, then draw three cards.'
Like I said, I gained control of their equipped creature, and dealt combat damage to them. I was not prompted to sacrifice the creature...
Is that right? I should have been prompted to have option to sacrifice the creature to discard my hand, then draw three cards.
Right???

Re: Aszbhar#33836's comment, that is the dumbest interaction ever. If you take a creature that has anything attached to it then you are in control of it until you lose control of the creature. Everything attached to a creature you take control of should be under your control until it isn't any longer.

Whilst you take control of the creature, the Equipment still remains under the control of your opponent. This is similar to when you cast an Aura spell on an opponent's creature, they have control of the creature, but you are the controller of the Aura and you have the option to activate any abilities on that Aura, not them, unless the Aura specifically says otherwise. (For example, see Candletrap, and then compare with Detention Vortex).
Your opponent, therefore, retained control of whether to reconfigure/sacrifice the card they control. So what should happen is when you damage your opponent with the creature, they would get the prompt of whether or not to sacrifice the Ogre-Head Helm, not you.
