Bug: Not Allowed To Cast Instant Destroy Evil vs Enlisted Guardian of New Benalia
I was playing this game on iOS MtG Arena.
My Opponent starts their turn with Guardian of New Benalia, Queen Allenal of Raudach, and Valiant Veteran in play.
I have two Destroy Evil cards in my hand with plenty of untapped lands to cast them (8 untapped with 4 of those producing white mana).
At the start of their turn, Destroy Evil is not valid to play because there is no toughness 4 or greater.
However, Opponent casts Adaline, Replendent Cathar. This card by itself has a base toughness of 4. This casting also made Queen Allenal a toughness of 4 and a valid target for Destroy Evil.
I don't recall if the game offered the option to play Destroy Evil at this point, because initially that wasn't a play I was going to make. I didn't notice the bug until after the Opponent Enlisted with Guardian of New Benalia.
Then opponent declares Guardian of New Benalia as an attacker. Then Enlists and taps Queen Allenal (now a 4/4). At this point, I think I should be able to cast an instant into the stack after the Queen is tapped. I could target the Queen or Adeline with Destroy Evil.
The game did not give me a chance to play instants during the enlist. Then the game proceeded to the declare defenders and combat resolution, but I was never offered the change to play my instants at any point until my turn started.
I didn't have this issue in the game until my Opponent started Enlisting with Guardian of New Benalia. After they would enlist, I couldn't play Destroy Evil, even with mana to cast and valid targets for the instants.

Did your opponent also control Myrel?
