Improper Draw by Repetitive Game Action
So, I was playing something of a white Lifegain mirror - I was on a Dungeon-themed build, while my opponent was on Clerics - and we got into a situation where I had been generating more than enough creature tokens every turn to block their relevant threats indefinitely, but they weren’t conceding. Keep in mind, they were drawing 4 cards every turn, and I was drawing 1 by choice. I waited through thirty minutes of triggers, watching my opponent draw out their entire deck - literally - and even though they were at 0 cards left in library, with my opponent controlling a Cosmos Elixir in play ready to kill them on their end step, they generated enough triggers to force me to hit “Resolve All” enough times to cause the client to force a draw. A DRAW!! WHEN I WAS WINNING! I wasn’t playing a combo. I wasn’t invincible; none of my stuff was hexproof. They simply weren’t playing Shadowspear, or any other trample enabler.
Give me my win back. Shut that **** down. I didn’t wait an hour to LOSE. My opponent shouldn’t be allowed to force me to play to a draw when they’re incapable of killing me, and dead on board THAT TURN. Not even MY turn, just on their end step! It doesn’t matter how much life they have if they can’t kill me in combat, and will mill out on their end step. This is ridiculous.
I understand it’s an infinite combo detection thing… but this wasn’t an infinite combo. He had like 12 of the soul sister effects, and 4 Voice of the Blessed. The game should have been mine, and any judge would have seen that.
