proper turn sequence
Ok, I am getting extremely sick and tired of the way my turns continuously get skipped during all types of gameplay on MTG Arena. Atleast once a game during both my turn and my opponents I will be allowed to choose a defender or attacker, and then the game will skip my next steps not allowing me to use abilities or instants. As a prime example, the correct gameplay would be that I choose which creatures I want to attack, then my opponent chooses which creatures they want to block and in what order, gameplay should then come back to me allowing me to use any abilities or instants I have available. Play should then pass back to my opponent offering them the same. Then the battles are carried out and I should be given my last opportunity to play any cards and then end my turn.
However, what happens way too often as an example is that I will be given the turn phase choosing attackers or defenders and then the rest of my phases will get skipped and play will pass to my opponent. I will not be given the opportunity to use abilities or instants regardless of how much mana I have left and what not. I've noticed it happens most frequently if my opponent lets their timer run out atleast once, it seems like doing that causes the game to skip over turns and phases. I love the game of magic, and with the amount of money I spend both online and in the real world its unbelievably frustrating to see your software failing to even run the basics of the game properly. Not to mention how hard it is to actually contact MTG company about these issues. I doubt very much that anyone will even see this or respond so soon Im going to have to start an online campaign to expose this. Someone please contact me if they experience anything similar or if Im wrong about the proper turn phases or something.

maybe full control mode can fix this issue. i often use it to order my triggered abilities in a specific way which is impossible without full control mode.

Yes, I have encountered this issue a number of times, I guess 6 times or so. That was very frustrating because I also lost because of this issue. Thanks for posting the problem!
