I saw the problems with Mastery XP not being reward and I have had it happen twice. What I noticed is it happens the second time you earn a thousand points in a play session. Any rollover points from the last time you hit 1000 points don’t count. I only figured this out after the second time it happened so I don’t have screen shots. I do know this sequence of events.
I had 975 XP total.
I won a game earning 250 XP for my last weekly win award and 25 XP on my daily.
I was correctly given my reward and my current total was listed as 250 XP correctly.
I played two more games, and I lost the first one and won the second. I won 750 XP for completing my daily quest to play 30 white or blue spells, plus 25 XP for another daily win. This should have total 1025 pts with 250 XP I had left from the last time. I should been reward another step on the mastery track and had 25 XP toward the next. What I got was the 775 XP I had just earned and the 250 XP I had left was not added in. This happened once before to me when I should get my second advancement that day. Prior to these two incidents I had been able to receive more than one advancement in a day.
If this a bug it needs to be fixed ASAP especially for those of us that buy a Mastery Pass, which I do. If it is a planned change that we can only earn one step a day it shouldn’t have been changed midway and only gone into effect for the next Mastery Pass. If this was a planned change, I want a refund. If it is a bug perhaps some compensation is in order. If this is a planned change you will no longer be getting my money for Mastery Passes. I get you want to make money on your game. That is fair. But I want value for my money, that is also fair.
