Yenna, Redtooth Regent actually should NOT be able to target
So, people who otherwise can't play the game normally have resorted to just copying lock cards like Cooped Up ad nausuem using Yenna. Unlike other bug reports where people say they can't target, this opponent did.
However, there are two critical logic issues with the ability:
First, the game did not provide me the opportunity to cast my own Instants, such as Lorna's Escape to prevent having the copy target my card.
Secondly, the card doesn't even state that their copy can target any of my cards to begin with.
The other bug reports are exactly how it should be: The card text does not permit new targets for the copied card!
Not sure how this passed playtesting, but please do fix this soon.

Let's get rid of all the "unintuitive" aspects of Magic for the sake of everyone. More consistency is sorely needed. There are too many weird edge cases (infinite loops, as well as trash like this) that should never make it out of playtesting

Copying an Aura requires that you choose a permanent or player for the Aura to enchant. This does not target, as Aura spells target when they are on the stack, not on the battlefield.
The only requirement is that the Aura is enchanting a permanent or player that it legally can enchant, so you can't put Curse of Silence on a creature for example.
Admittedly this does sometimes feel like an unintuitive interaction, but the key to remember is that cards cannot target permanents, only spells and abilities can.
