The only reason I play magic is to play with friends. This should be a lot higher on Wizards radar. I mean this issue, based on research, has been going on for years??? Seems like because it doesn’t directly bring in money they must not care. What a shame.

STILL can't play with my partner or any friends. Been trying every day since the new Ixalan update (and even before this update), and direct challenges with friends never works. This was the entire reason I have played Arena for years, and now I have no reason to play nor spend money on it. There are thousands of other players experiencing this same issue and are frustrated, rightfully so, because WotC seems to be ignoring its fanbase, and ignoring a bug that has been around for FOUR years. Please put resources on fixing this issue, as players have been dedicated to supporting MtG for a long time but it feels as though the players are not being supported, as well.

My dad and I are trying to play with each other, I'm on PC he is on Android. We are having the same problem with every single person who commented on this report. We keep getting Network Connection Error and Submit Deck Error.

Same for me - can’t play direct challenge. Can’t submit deck and I lose network connection. Worked for one game and consistently crashes identically to screenshots from other comments.

I think many like me are on the verge of giving up on this game… Such a Great game, fun and it really is good for us players who can’t play magic IRL. This is a very CRITICAL SITUATION and Important please fix this… This for many of us in the community would be the last straw… I will try to play with my friend from
Out of state… If it doesnt work, I will take this to social media in the hopes many share and see this and hopefully something gets done or updated… -

Hello,
I am experiencing this as well with my friend. He is playing on Android, I am on PC.
We get various messages, the latest one (I didn't get a screen cap) said something along the lines of "could not connect because your challenge options mismatched." and then offered to take me back to the deck selector, but I cannot leave that screen. It crashes on Android when my friend gets to the deck selector and makes a selection.
