Same Issue, often get disconnected from the server immediately after as well

Experiencing the same issue, as this seems to be affecting many, if not all, players. Can we at least get some sort of acknowledgement that this has been received by Customer Support and that there are at least plans to address it? Just some communication, please!

Me and my husband can no longer play against each other since the latest update.

Been having this issue for a week or longer cant play my friend on direct challenge and its starting to frustrate me since I purchase the battle pass and try to get more cards to play against friends and I cant even do that.

This is by far the most important problem to fix for me, I play a lot of arena, I spend money on arena, I need to be able to play with my friends, otherwise I am done with arena, and new cards irl too.

Error occurs on two accounts in our household. It occurs on Windows, linux/steam and on Android.

All other play and uses work fine, only challenge friend is broken

The only reason I play magic is to play with friends. This should be a lot higher on Wizards radar. I mean this issue, based on research, has been going on for years??? Seems like because it doesn’t directly bring in money they must not care. What a shame.

STILL can't play with my partner or any friends. Been trying every day since the new Ixalan update (and even before this update), and direct challenges with friends never works. This was the entire reason I have played Arena for years, and now I have no reason to play nor spend money on it. There are thousands of other players experiencing this same issue and are frustrated, rightfully so, because WotC seems to be ignoring its fanbase, and ignoring a bug that has been around for FOUR years. Please put resources on fixing this issue, as players have been dedicated to supporting MtG for a long time but it feels as though the players are not being supported, as well.

Also I got the same problema trying to play with my son and cannot submit deck network errore. Tried on apple iOS, Windows and macOs

My dad and I are trying to play with each other, I'm on PC he is on Android. We are having the same problem with every single person who commented on this report. We keep getting Network Connection Error and Submit Deck Error.

We have tested this bug on many platform, but not work. I cannot start the challenge due to Unable to submit deck error.

Same for me - can’t play direct challenge. Can’t submit deck and I lose network connection. Worked for one game and consistently crashes identically to screenshots from other comments.

If this isn't fixed by end of year I'm out only started to play with friends they wanted me to play and teach me.
