healing phase
I think a healing phase should be added to the core main game right after combat phase. Something along the line of paying one mana for each oppponants creatures to gain one life each with the option of paying 1 mana for each of your own creatures and enchantments and artifacts to gain 2 life. I'm really tired of having land and not using it efficently and short helpless games that end after 4 or five turns because of a bad card draw. Summoning sickness and tapped creatures can't be used in this way and the main change would also let you win if you attain fifty health. Also another extension that would benefit would be to pay a couple mana to draw a card then we could have odds in using the whole 60 card deck and if that runs out cancelling the healing phase because of lack of dispense.

Good thought, but I don't know if I'd want that at all because, as you pointed out, you're not using the land efficiently. I can't promise you a better experience by just pausing a little bit and think a little bit more, but if you bear through the frustration, you'll be better for it I think. Just my opinion though, man. Don't be afraid to mulligan. I've gone into ranked with two land and Giada, Font of Hope and won. The frustration is worth it.
