I mean, literally, code better. I know yall can't code true random, but *******, please move in the OPs direction here. I just finished a game In Historic Play where, out of 22 land, of which ten are Plains, I got none of said Plains. Sure, I had Leyline of the Guildpact, but that's not the point - the point is deck survivability with or without Guildpact. So when I adjust the number of lands from 24 to 22 and even out other lands (Island, Forest, Swamp, Westvale Abbey) and add more Plains, I get into my next match, guess what?
One Plains, two Islands, one Lone Rider, one Ajani's Pridemate, one Moment of Defiance and one Ajani, Strength of the Pride. Lone Rider goes out first, followed by Ajani's Pridemate. Both get nuked. I draw a Swamp. Okay, I have the mana to cast, no creature to cast it on. Fine. I end my turn. I can't remember what the other guy drew, or played, but I drew a Forest on my next draw. I have the mana to cast, but only one out of twelve Plains when I have three Islands/Swamps/Forests and ONE Westvale Abbey? You guys are absolutely inept at hiding the obvious trap your ****** coding plots out for you beginning of match.
Addition: I cut Plains from 12 to ten, removed Westvale Abbey, cut Forests and Swamps down to two, added two Boseiju, Who Endures, two Brushland, two Caves of Koilos. It's lovely how yall will cram as many rare lands as you can into a starting hand, and then skimp out on the basic lands you actually have the most of. Like, get ******. ******* code better. You guys are making the idea of building a stupid ******* mono-red burn deck just so I can spam Goblins out my ******* with minimal land count and because your matchmaker seems to either match your opponent's deck, or flood you with ******** - especially against red ******* Goblins. **** red, and **** your coding.
Why the **** do matches vary from being competitive to the shuffler going "idk wtf im doin, imma wing it, badly"?

I can't promise you a better experience by just pausing a little bit and think a little bit more, but if you bear through the frustration, you'll be better for it I think. Just my opinion though, man. Don't be afraid to mulligan. I've gone into ranked with two land and Giada, Font of Hope and won. The frustration is worth it.
What kind of decks are you playing?

It's a card I have no use for right now, and even if I do use it down the road, I'm not gonna be able to use all ten of the Cursed Courtiers I've gotten outside of drafts, etc.

An error occurred while saving the comment Vhailor#16296 commentedHear, hear. Feel like the amount of land cards we get is based on opponent's deck to compensate, but for crying out loud, when they slowplay it, play lands all the time and nothing else but planeswalkers and removal spells. Because of their deck, your deck is being affected heavily. If they heap out lands like no tomorrow, so do you at the expense of everything else.

Case in point. Three out of five matches.
