Incorrect rules interactions between Cleave spells and casting cost discounts
Hi,
In a recent game on MTG arena I had "Case of the Ransacked Lab" on the battlefield and "Dread Fugue" in my hand. I wanted to cast "Dread Fugue" with the Cleave casting option expecting a discount of 1 from Case of Ransacked Lab. However, MTGA only gave the cleave option to cast without the discount.
Case of the Ransacked Lab states "Instant and sorcery spells you cast cost 1 less to cast."
Dread Fugue states "You may cast this spell for its cleave cost. If you do, remove the words in square brackets.)"
A Dread Fugue that is cast for its cleave cost is still a sorcery that is cast, so the discount from Ransacked Lab should still apply.
