Blood ****... red card.
I really loved "Blood LT" the 2 casting red card. It played well with innate abilities. Blood Lu*t YOUR opponents 5/5 and it would be a 9/1 and vulnerable to a red 1/1 with first strike.. or a simple "shock" spell. Innate abilities were from the start of the game... and free, as far as spell cost. White had vigilance and flying, Green had trample and flying, Red had first strike and haste... each color had it's specialty trait. Blue creatures never have first strike... black doesn't have "regenerate" anymore. One innate ability could cross over to other colors... the other is "specialized". Thus the rare handful of red creatures with protection from red... protection from a color was "specialized" to white. with a few exceptions for blending. Do not "tip the balance" to one color with too much blending. The players blend the colors to create balanced power... not just blend the cards with multi colors effects. Mono color decks should have a "Fatal Flaw", no deck should be unbeatable. "Grind Stone"... with a "Painters Servant" it's a instant win... a 2 card combo... with old school Black Lotus and Mox's, Dark Ritual... it's a first turn win. Careful to not over power things. The "Channel", "Fireball" lesson from old school... 4 mana and 19 life, could kill first turn.. so Channel got banned. Bring back black's "Oubliette" the equal counter part to white's 3 casting remove a creature from play, but Not Dead. I re read my post.. .really it won't let me type the word Lt.. it removes it... really, come on guys. "Blood Passion" isn't the same thing. "Blood Berserk" might work for a update reprint?
