Reduce the Power Creep introduced in LImited by adding multiple rares to a single pack
In limited, a recent change was made to add additional rares to each pack. Bomb rares are the least fun cards to win with or lose to. Situations arrive where if a card is played, and you don't have an immediate answer (such as removal or a counter spell) then the game is decided then and there, and all other cards played up until that point were mostly just to buy time. Combos are cool (multiple cards creating strong synergy - emphasis on multiple cards here), but single cards that do as much as 3 cards in one are problematic.
The set designs ebb and flow in power level, but at least in limited, strong commons and uncommons had a chance to shine. With the the possibility of 2 rares per pack, I'm finding myself going up against decks stacked with rares, and some have multiple bomb rares.
Losing to these decks feels unfair and is not fun. Winning with these cards also feels cheap, if my opponent outdrafted and outplayed me only to lose to a single unbeatable card, it feels stolen. That's not fun either.
