Codie Triggered Ability Finds the Same Spell that Triggered It
In a recent game, I cast Crackle With Power using Codie. He should then exile cards until finding an instant or sorcery with lesser mana value. I should be able to cast that for free. Codie found another Crackle With Power and presented that. It seems incorrect because Codie should find a spell with lesser value.

When you cast Crackle With Power it had the mana value of however much you used to cast it. 5 if X was 1, 8 if X was 2, etc.
When an ability searches for a spell with a certain mana value, all X values are treated as 0. Just be aware that if it's an ability that automatically casts the spell, then the X value will be 0 there too.
