"No Attacks" should be the opposite of "All Attack"
Issue: The buttons labeled "All Attack" and "No Attack" are labeled symmetrically, but do not behave symmetrically. This is confusing, frustrating, and I've been keeping count and have now lost 7 games to this specific misclick in the interface, due to the buttons not behaving as expected.
What I observe:
- Clicking All Attack makes all of my tokens declared for attacking, but then the interface waits to confirm with a second click, allowing you to adjust.
- Clicking No Attacks immediately passes turn, exiting the ENTIRE attack phase on a single click.
- There is no easy way in the interface to do the opposite of All Attack. The button "No Attacks", which seems like it should do the opposite of All Attack, immediately ends the attack phase, even if you have potential attackers selected.
What I expect to happen when I click this button:
- While one or more creatures or tokens are selected to attack, "No Attacks" cancels the selection and WAITS. A second click is required to actually pass through the attacking phase. This makes the button behave as the opposite of the All Attacks button.
Another possible solution would be to rename this button. If it said "Pass Turn" or similar then the label would at least be more accurate. Changing the label still has the problem of "There is not an easy way to undeclare attackers" though, because if you e.g. misclicked All Attack in the first place, you now have to go through and manually click all your creatures and stacks to remove them from attacking.
A third solution could be to have a gesture for undeclaring all attacks. Runeterra and Balatro used Right-Click anywhere on the board (not on a card or inspectable) and that worked great. For mobile, maybe a swipe or long press. I would take literally anything as long as it works for this purpose.
Please at least do something, this aspect of the UI is incredibly unacceptable and very frustrating
