Expected behavior: the full card image pops up so the user can read it. Observed behavior: it doesn't.

This is especially problematic because it may be necessary to inspect cards in order to inform the choice, and (because it's a triggered ability, in contrast to similar mana abilities) the user can get trapped in a state where they didn't decide beforehand.
