Wizards of the Coast Fix your block
You really need to fix your block and start banning a lot of cards. I'm tired of seeing Red, White, and Green decks being given all these tools constantly across all sets that Hard-counter blue and black. All the tools that should be able to keep the game going by limiting aggro are basically hard-counter by all these hexproof one-drops and so on.
- It's extremely unbalanced as it just hard counters and removal in a deck that relies on it to keep the game going for one more turn.
- It's not fun
- The overall power of black and blue cards has not changed very much for a long time yet you keep buffing red, white, and green over and over again.
Stop printing all these overpowered creatures, all these overpowered one and two mana cost card. Stop printing all these creatures and abilities that constantly spawn +1/+1 counters and permanents of all kind. Stop putting all these enchantments that stack with each-other and make creatures absurdly huge for free.
Stop giving Red, White, and Green so many cards that let them draw cards. That should be something only blue should be able to do.
Your design decision within the more recent blocks have lead to a game that favors red, white, and green aggro decks above all else that all either can consistently win in 4 turns or have enough tool to shut any kind of board control. Given how much most decks outside of those are based on luck, it just a terrible idea to allow cards to make it into publication that enable consistent 4 turn wins, the consistent ability to hard-counter any sort of control.
It is bad design. Shame on you for printing this, shame on the designers for even conceiving of this, shame on the bootlicker pros for not criticizing the consistent unbalancing of the format and excessive power creep, shame on quality control for letting this **** get out the gates, and shame on everyone who runs this nonsense. Why even continue to play at this point if all that's going to happen is the game keeps getting worse and worse, becomes less and less intellectual, and, becomes more and more about just stacking some designed combos to win in 3-4 turns from the beginning of the game. It's not a game at that point. It's just pure random chance for a quick dopamine fix by some whale.
Also go back to the older version of standard. Two blocks of at most three sets each and at most the most recent two core sets. Not this three blocks of 4-6 sets each.
