The board state when the UI broke is in the picture below. To recreate the exact scenerio, I casted Hautli's Final Strike targeting Laughing Jasper Flint, which triggered the Hardbristle Bandit. In the exact moment I clicked on the Bandit to tap it for mana, my opponent conceded and the results screen never popped up and the gear icon the top right corner dissapeared.
