-First time playing was June 2023. Didn't know much about the formats so I went with what the game was more or less suggesting, which was alchemy. So I spent all of my real money/coins/gems on alchemy format which at the time was LOTR set. Took a break around Wilds of Eldraine.
-Logged on the other day because I wanted to start playing again but was not having fun at all. I already spent well over 200 bucks buying stuff to make some decks/learning and I didn't want to do that again. I know you get some starter decks but these are not going to cut it. So I tried to find a format that would let me play my older Alchemy decks which was Historic, but even playing this format was not fun at all because you can use anything which made all of my 3 decks I spent over 200 dollars making unwinnable.
-Is there another mode that can be added that's Historic Alchemy or something like that?
-I feel since it's all digital every card should just be free, so you can really get into the game.
-Make your money from Cosmetics.
Way more player Icons, Tons of Emotes. Board Backgrounds "on your side of the board only, so you can see the other guy's background also", Cards that have emotes or voice lines built into them. The possibilities are endless. The first time when I played Magic back in 1998 the card art has always amazed me!, Now just get some devs that can animate this art.
