Elesh norn not proccing.
Elesh norn is not doing dmg back to certain cards when receiving dmg from them.
Unless causing loss of life does not count as dmg received.

Indeed it does not. Losing life is not the same as taking damage. A player taking damage usually results in loss of life, but not always (e.g. infect). If an effect is causing loss of life directly, it is not dealing damage.
