Kenrith's Transformation on Ashaya
I cast Kenrith's Transformation on my opponents Ashaya. This is supposed to remove all of Ashaya's abilities but the ability to turn all my opponents creatures into forests was still active. Someone reported this bug 4 years ago and it's still not fixed so I'm reporting it again

Because this is not a bug and needs no fixing.
Ashaya does lose her abilities. BUT, she does so way too late, long after her ability has been applied. This has do do with the layer system the game uses to determine how continuous effects are applied and change objects. Ashaya grants a card type (land) to creatures, so applies in layer 4. Kenrith's Transformation also grants a card type (creature) and subtype (Elk), which is thus also applied in layer 4. The two have no dependency, so happen in time stamp order. Transformation also grants color (green), which happens in layer 5. Finally, Transformation removes Ashaya's abilities in layer 6. By then, all the player's nontoken creatures have already been turned into lands. Ashaya does lose the mana ability that comes with being a Forest, but that's it, because that is all that can be removed with a visible effect at that time.
And just to throw it in there, the same thing happens with Kudo, King among Bears, and Ygra, Eater of All, and for the same reason.
