Token copy of Archangel of Tithes is not working
I have one Archangel of Tithes and one token 1/1 copy of it (created by an Offspring capacity).
Both are untapped but when my opponent attacked with 3 creatures he only paid 3 manas instead of 6.
Is there a reason I didn't catch or is it a bug ?

Are you sure they only had to pay 3 rather than 6? Because one of their 3 tapped lands is Three Tree City and it has the ability "{2}, {T}: Choose a color. Add an amount of mana of that color equal to the number of creatures you control of the chosen type."
