Bug with Marina Vendrell not triggering when entering from the graveyard

My opponent cast Marina Vendrell and its ETB trigger happened normally, although they whiffed. Later, they sacrificed Marina Vendrell to my Osseous Sticktwister, then used their Valgavoth's Faithful to reanimate it. There was no trigger when it reentered, but shouldn't there be?
