Flipping cards with disguise does not count towards expend
My opponent flipped a disguised creature with Muerra on the field and it did not count towards their expended mana

To ewxpend mana, you have to cast spells. Activating abilities, or taking special actions, etc. doesn't count. Has to be spells specifically.
