Reporting bug with crystal barricade. Gives player hexproof yet still taking burn damage
Despite crystal barricade giving me hexproof. I still get hit with burn damage

Hexproof definitely not working for any kind of targeting and is not just an issue with ‘burn’.

Same issue with Virtue of Persistence -3 / -3 is getting through to other creatures I own with no interfering cards in play.

Hexproof only helps against targted burn. If the effect says "each player" or "each opponent", there is no targteting, and hexproof is irrelevant.
Remember:
Only the word "target" makes an object or player a target. Simply being affected by something does not. No "target", no target.
