Can't respond to Coordinated Maneuver with Snakeskin veil.
I had specifically left a forest up to respond to kill spells with snakeskin veil. It killed my Elfsworn Giant without any moment to interact from what im reading in other reports. both cards have issues

No, people have issues reading cards.
My guess? Voice of Victory on the field. Or Grand Abolisher. Or Myrel. Or any of the many other cards with the same/similar effect:
"Your opponents can't cast spells during your turn."
