Excessive Timeouts when players leave a match on PC using the X in top right by closing app.
When playing MTGA on PC, if a player leaves during a game by clicking the X and closing the client, the server does not register this and the other player has to suffer through however many 30 second timers the player has until the player times out.
This happens in at least 25-30% of matches I play during dailies, players get frustrated or realize they are going to lose and X out. I've tested this myself with friends to reverse engineer what was going on. Initially I thought it was players griefing when they were going to lose, then I figured out they are just Xing out of the application using the X in top right and the server registers that as a disconnect instead of a forfeit.
My suggestion is when a player Clicks the X, give them the option to forfeit the match, or consider that a forfeit. This is NOT a disconnect and the X should send information to the server instead of just closing the application without tying up loose ends.
This is beyond annoying and costs me at least 10-15 minutes a day doing dailies, waiting through players timeouts.

Or they are just griefing.
I’ve had players do this and you can tell they are there cuz they click on their hand then immediately join round 2
