[[Case of the Lost Witness]] + [[Ephemerate]] Incorrect rules interactions
Hello Rules-engine team,
I belive I encountered a gameplay bug (incorrect rules interaction) while playing arena cube when I attempted to [[Ephemerate]] a [[Fblthp, the Lost]] conjured by [[Case of the Lost Witness]]. Some more observations (log file too big to attach):
- the spell was put on the stack, but seems to have not fully resolved since the Rebound reminder box didn't get created.
- the conjured Fblthp did not get put in my hand
- the ephemerate did go to my graveyard
This was on PC client.
Hope this helps spot an issue, and is not me wasting someones time because I missed some rules interatction on board!!

You have to read your cards in full. Ephemerate was countered on resolution, because its target was illegal. It was illegal, because Fblthp, the Lost has left the battlefield at that time. It left the battlefield, because its ability on it being targeted triggered, resolved, and shuffled it back into the library.
So, no bug, all as it should be.
Also, whyever would you expect Fblthp to be put into your hand when casting Ephemerate? That spell only exiles the target and returns it to the battlefield right away. (Provided it gets to resolve that is. Which in your scenario it did not.)
