Alchemy
Sick of losing in games to stupid unbalanced alchemy cards.....keep alchemy to alchemy games. I don't like it and it ruins all the other game modes. You should be able, at least, to toggle alchemy off so you are not matched against any decks with alchemy cards. It's a rubbish format that has to default to it when choosing a game to falsy show it's been played when most ppl play by accident.

I'll go ahead and add my voice to all the people asking for dedicated alchemy-free matchmaking for all formats - especially brawl and historic brawl. The ability to repeatedly conjure cards out of thin air runs counter to the entire idea of a singleton, fixed-decksize format. Not to mention that the alchemy mechanics are just exceptionally unfun to deal with, especially when abused egregiously (i'm looking at you, crucias). Win or lose, I've never come out of a match against an alchemy-focused deck with a good taste in my mouth, so I - and many others - would appreciate the ability to avoid those cards like the plague that they are.

How About a No Alchemy Historic Play Option?... I Just can't comprehend how you can have Power 9 cards (that are banned in every format) and be ok with them in Alchemy, also alchemy cards are so power crept, magic is not heartstone... stop trying to be heartstone.

These Alchemy cards are WAY TOO BROKEN. It sucks the fun out of the game when someone can drop a 5/5 that gives ALL the creatures in their deck perpetual +1+1? thats ************.
Every brawl deck i go against is just Alchemy cards. Whats the point of playing brawl when all im going to do is be power crept out of cards I cant even play with in paper?
this is DUMB as ****.

Please, we are not asking to ban alchemy, just create a separate brawl format for it, playing against them feels always unfair and many players who don't enjoy alchemy and refuse to add them to their decks like me because we simply don't enjoy the nature of alchemy end up having a bad experience, I understand that the alchemy cards have to be pushed so people can like them and that is fine, but please don't force us to use them if we don't enjoy them

Please let alchemy exist in their own format, the cards are clearly pushed and that is ok, but they should exist separated from the normal pool of cards, playing with and against them is annoying for a lot of the player base, this could be solved by making historic brawl and alchemy historic brawl 2 different formats

Repeatedly running into alchemy cards while playing historic brawl is entirely ruining my MTGA experience. It is becoming enough of an issue that I'm planning on just abandoning MTGA after having spent hundreds of dollars on the game over the years.
I seriously hate these cards. They are not fun to play against. They are game breaking. The go outside the spirit of the game. They are trying to turn MtG into a hearthstone clone and I'm sick of seeing them.
I'm sorry but cards that let you "conjure" the power nine into your deck (making a brawl deck 100% illegal by doing so), cards that let any color have access to demonic tutor (a card that isn't legal to play in historic brawl, and can be "conjured" in decks that don't match that color), cards that duplicate lands simply by playing lands, cards that "conjure" urzatron lands, making your deck an illegal deck by having 103 cards. It's just getting ridiculous and every time I see them, I just scoop. I'm fairly sure most people who lose to alchemy cards can all agree that it feels cheap and never feels like a good game.Stop ******* with the cash grab. Stop the janky hearthstone ****. Concentrate on what makes mtg amazing and seriously just split up the formats.

The heist deck is not only strong, it is very slow to play from turn 1! It's no fun even if I'm lucky enough to win a disadvantageous mirror match, and it's no fun to play the meta because it takes so long!
Alchemy should stick to supporting unused mechanisms in standard construction! Don't force in alchemy original mechanisms that upset the game balance! Nerf this ****** card county as soon as possible! You said adjusting is the beauty of Alchemy, but you are full of lies. This is why the number of players is not increasing!

Please make an adjustment to the heist mechanic or to the heist cards. The cards are not fun to play against, and they have been making for a miserable experience in alchemy.
From a gameplay enjoyment perspective, it is not fun having your opponent consistently take the best cards out of your deck. It greatly reduces deckbuilding choices and creates imbalanced gameplay patterns.
From a mechanic standpoint:
1. Heist nonrandomly removes the strongest cards from your deck. This is problematic because it makes your own draws significantly weaker. Normally, that would have an opportunity cost for the player removing those cards like in the case of 'the stone brain'. However, the heist player instead gets rewarded and they can infinitely play the card that they just took from your deck.
2. Heist cards are too efficient for the power of their effect. Since they were printed, the heist cards have defined the alchemy format. Having a heist effect on a 1 mana modal instant is far too strong and the metagames shows it.
3. Heist is not random enough. The mechanic shows three nonland cards. Unfortunately, this is not random enough to ensure that the heist player can reasonable miss as taking a card that they want out of your deck. This creates situations where side boarding against heist becomes impossible. Putting one or two of a card in your deck against heist is foolish, because the heist deck can take that card almost guaranteed before you draw it.
4. Post-rotation, there are not enough cards that effectively counter heist. There are very few cards that can interact with the cards they take from your deck, which again, limits deckbuilding choices.
Finally, from the perspective of the Alchemy format as a whole... this format is supposed to be the format where rebalances are easy to implement. The whole point of the format is that changes can be made to problematic individual cards or mechanics. I know for a fact that there are players who have quit the format specifically because they hate the heist mechanic.
Please rebalance heist or the heist cards.

Heist should be banned or modified for several reasons:
-Heisted cards do not count against hand total.
-cannot see what was heisted
-overpowered cards:Grave Expectations - 1 mana to steal a hidden card at no discard cost
Triumphant Getaway - 4 mana to steal 2 hidden cards, then use any color to cast them and -2 to opponents if used
Grenzo - completely broken card with ability to cast 1 heisted card for free each turn, and heists upon entering battlefield AND each upkeep.
Other heist cards like Thieving Aven, Impetuous Lootmonger and Weave the Nightmare are more fair, with the exception that WtN should cost 1 extra to do both actions.
Grenzo and Triumphant Getaway should be banned altogether. Grave Expectations should either cost more mana or require a discard. Any heisted cards should count against hand total. And they should be visible. This would make it fun again.
This is by far the most frustrating, broken, overpowered mechanic in the Alchemy format and needs to be modified substantially.

Either create another queue for Historic Brawl that is free from Alchemy cards, or allow a filter on the screen to only match with opponents that don't run alchemy cards.
It's fine to have digital only cards, but put respect that some of your players would prefer not to run into them.

Agreed historic was good, and is probably still my favorite format to play, but I have started auto scooping every single time I see an alchemy card because I think alchemy is a cop out. It just makes magic feel like hearthstone to me, and that is not a compliment.

Historic is not historic as it's a made up format containing alchemy cards.
There is also nowhere to play cards for the brand new Modern Horizons 3 set that is not infected with the insane non-paper-mechanics alchemy cards being playable.

I had to verse a commander who conjured the power 9..
There is another mono green commander who conjures free lands.
What is the point of playing Brawl if the core rules aren't followed

Sorry not sorry, the Alchemy cards are unbalanced and make the experience of playing a match stressful and/or unfair. I understand that alchemy is a "full digital" format, but creating cards that even in the physical format would be banned everywhere should't be your focus. Grenzo, Crooked Jailer and Mythweaver Poq are just a couple of example, but I could cite every creature with the intensity keyword (another senseless feature of Alchemy). I say that these card are unfair because there is no strategy nor there Is a downside/balance/cost for the abilities of this card. Take Mythweaver Poq: it copies a non land land when it enters the battlefield. Now I have a card/commander (in the Brawl matches it is gaining popularity very quickly because of this, I guess why) that makes me play two land per turn, and moreover one is a copy of another one.
My suggestion is to nerf these cards so they don't make people quit the match as soon as they see the card (trust me, it's happening), or make a division in formats between one where you can use Alchemy cards and one where you can't.
Or don't, but you won't attract players (who probably plays the physical format) if this is you focus -

This makes me less likely to buy paper products because I can't do any real test run online to try to tune decks. WoTC is legit failing to get some of my earnings because there isn't any online avenue for playing against real decks, just these stupid decks with perpetual effects.
