Blacksmith's Talent does not grant double strike
When adding level 3 to Blacksmith's talent, the double strike icon appears on creatures but they do not actually deal damage in first strike and normal strike damage steps, effectively making it not work at all.

If the attacker was blocked, was there a blocker remaining to receive the second strike? If not, then no combat damage is assigned and dealt, because a blocked attacker does not get through to the player/planeswalker/battle it asttacked just becasue it has no blockers left.
