Bug: Targetting Valgavoth with no nonland permanents on the board
I had Valgavoth on the board on turn 4 and my opponent had nothing on their board. They cast Inevitable Defeat and were able to target Valgavoth and exile him without sacrificing 3 nonland permanents, as is Valgavoth's ward cost. Why was that possible!?

"This spell can't be countered."
That's why. Because ward tries to counter the spell if not paid, and this spell says "nu-uh".
