Land destrcution stack error
Player 1. Use Demolition Field on Volatile Fault
Player 2. In response, activate Volatile Fault on a target other than Demolition Field
Steps resolve as normal, but Player 1 only gets to search for 1 Land to replace the 2 they've now lost

They sacrificed the target, so the ability of Demolition Field fizzled, because it had no more legal targets left.
