Artist's Talent bonus damage didn't proc with Vengeful Bloodwitch when creatures died.

Had an upgraded Artist's Talent in play that reads "If a source you control would deal noncombat damage to an opponent or a permanent an opponent controls, it deals that much damage plus 2 instead." I also had in play TWO vengeful bloodwitch's and two other creatures. Before combat, the opponent had 8 health. I attacked with all 4 creatures, and the opponent blocked, resulting in the death of one Vengeful Bloodwitch and another creature.

When combat resolved and the creatures died, my one living Bloodwitch got through and did 1 damage to the opponent. Because of the deaths, the Bloodwitch's ability procced 3 times. However, instead of doing 9 damage (1 + 2 from Artist's Talent X3), it only did 3 damage to the opponent. I believe that the Bloodwitch's ability should be considered noncombat damage and should have benefited from the bonus damage from Artist's Talent, but it did not get picked up. Unless the Bloodwitch's ability is considered combat damage for some strange reason.
