Game didnt let me cast my counterspell with proper mana up in Standard Metagame Challenge
I was playing the Metagame challenge match 1 game 3 simic midrange versus orzhov sacrifice. I have a green and a blue mana open for my repulsive mutation and my opponent casts his first spell (voice of victory) which i click to let resolve, then he casts a sothera the supervoid and it just resolves without asking me to respond ( i still have the correct mana up for an x=0 repulsive mutation with creatures on board while he is tapped out). this ends the game on the spot as i have no way to recover from his blowout turn.
I am using a PC
I demand a refund for my Metagame challenge entry fee.

You had no way to respond anymore. Because you let Voice of Victory resolve. It specifically prohibits opponents from casting spells on its controller's turn while on the battlefield.
