Continuously receiving Banishing Light in packs
I am continuously receiving Banishing Light when opening packs. It always appears in the lower right hand slot with the same art and is flagged as “first” despite me already having received it numerous times before. I am worried this is keeping me from getting other cards or the corresponding wildcard given that I have four copies of this card already.

You don't get any wildcards from having a common or uncommon complete already, nor do those rarities have duplicate protection. You are not losing out on anything. The "first" marker is most likely due to you not having one version of the card at all from another set.
Excess commons and uncommons contribute to the vault (+0.1% for a common, +0.3% for an uncommon). A completed vault gives you 3 uncommon wildcards, 2 rare ones, and a mythic one.
