Doublestrike from Violent Urge not consistently working on second attack using Fear of Missing Out
I've noticed when attacking with a double strike creature (Violent Urge) who is blocked in the first attack does not consistently have double strike during second attack triggered by Fear of Missing Out. I've seen a combination of it working and not working, and not sure yet of exact details that causes the only one damage phase instead of two during the second attack.

If all blockers are gone after the first strike damage, the double striking attacker has nothing to assign damage to, unless it also has trample. Thus it will deal no damage in the second combat damage step. This goes for all combat phases of the turn.
