Large Maths Modelling: Doing Math to Many Objects.
If I have 2x Scute Swarm in play. And have the ability to play a large number of lands say 4 fetches or 8 landfall triggers in a turn. MTGA should resolve this math as quickly as possible. Making 2^(N+1)-2 objects as a single group.
I should be able to select a portion of that group (to force tap, attack, block, other legal actions) while not having to select individual objects.
Currently the client+server struggles with ~256 objects per player. There are board states that I need to make more object (even over 1024 objects).
The ability to group 256 same (enough) tokens together, then double them, whilst they are still the same group is not hard; maths wise.
And yes, there is a time and place that you have to do groupA math against groupB math. That when attacking blocking we can do group maths. An example: 200x 2/2s with menace attacking into 400x 1/1s should be an easy operation. We do not need to render 600 objects hitting each other. The attacking player shouldn’t have to confirm how their 2/2s are assigning damage, 200 times (they should say N/200 assign damage like this).
Feel free to make MTGA robust. So 4 player EDH is possible.
