Poison
In Commander, players start with 40 life, but the poison counter loss condition is still only 10. This feels unbalanced compared to other win conditions, since poison strategies can eliminate players much faster than regular damage-based decks.
I suggest raising the poison counter limit in Commander to 21, similar to the commander damage rule. This change would make poison mechanics fairer and better aligned with the pace and spirit of the format.

Poison and ("toxic") is/was one of Magic's worst long-standing mechanics along with Offensive Mill.
Thankfully, they're not publishing cards with Cumulative Upkeep anymore.
I hope they'll stop publishing cards with both of these too and, in general, with alternative win conditions.
Designing the game is already hard enough with just the simple goal of reducing your opponent's life total to zero.
