Couldn't cast a mayhem ability during main fase
In a game during the midweek Magic event, I was prevented from using the Mayhem ability.
My opponent had a Rishei, Getaway Accomplice (4/6) and other creatures on the battlefield. I had a Deathflame Burst in my hand and controlled a Wardens of Silverweb Summit and other creatures.
In my first main phase, I cast Deathflame Burst targeting my opponent's Rishei, Getaway Accomplice. Then I entered combat and attacked with all my creatures. Wardens of Silverweb Summit's ability triggered, and I discarded a card to draw.
After combat, in my second main phase, I tried to cast Deathflame Burst on Rishei, Getaway Accomplice, but the game didn't allow me to use the Mayhem ability.
I think there was an incorrect rules interaction.

Mayhem only works for the discarded card, and only on the turn it is discarded. You did not discard your Deathflame Burst, so its mayhem is not available to you. Simply discarding any card does not help with mayhem.
